Doviđenja Apartment Iris

Doviđenja apparently means good bye in Croatian and Monday afternoon that is what we said to Dubrovnik and the Apartment Iris which has been our home for the last week.  It has been a wonderful visit even if the weather didn't cooperate completely.  While we accomplished a lot, there were still things we didn't get to - several of the museums, a visit to Lokrum island, and a walk on the "sentier" around the Lapad peninsula.  I guess that gives me a good reason to come back! 

So, we left the apartment and headed for the ferry to Hvar, our next stop.  I do want to say that Apartment Iris, which I found on VRBO was super and I cannot recommend it enough.  Iris was very helpful and the fact that she had her son hump our bags up stairs when we arrived and took them back down when we were leaving was beyond great.  So, here are a couple of photos of the apartment - although I thought I took more photos of the interior.  Both bedrooms were spacious as was the bathroom.

The apartment is on the top floor - yes there are stairs but the climb is worth it!!
